Now available at R n R Fabrication Lifan Engines. These engines are complete with 4 and 5 speed transmission, electronics, and carburation. Stop putting a lawnmower engine on that Mini Chopper give your Mini Chopper the authentic look it deserves with a real motorcycle engine. Choose from our line up of Lifan engines ranging from 50cc to 250cc v-twin Lifan engines. Lifan 50cc, 70cc, 90cc, 100cc, and 110cc engines will bolt in Honda CRF50 CRF70 CT70 Z50 XR70 XR50 SL70 and Z50R. The 70cc engine is the same size as a 50cc engine. As you can see there is very little difference between the two, when it comes to their size. The 110cc is only about 1/2" to 3/4" longer than the 70cc. The main difference is the difference between the width of the 110cc head vs. the width of the 70cc engine head. These engines are manufactured by Lifan. .Lifan is ISO 9001 certified which means that all of the engines are made under strict quality control, monitored and certified by the International Standards Organization. This isa important because many of the parts of an internal combustion engine cannot be evaluated by eye. The tolerances and metallurgy are of utmost importance and must be consistent with all manufacturing thus needing an ISO 9001 certification. Literally all of the Lifan engine parts are interchangeable with its Japanese cousin, Honda. Lifan confirmed that the engines that they manufacture are made with tooling that was purchased and set up under contract. The engines were cloned from the classic design that was implemented in the late 1960's. Honda's patent has expired since more than 30 years has past. Lifan engines still shift in the classic pattern three or four down while Honda's now shift up. The only change that Lifan has implemented is the CDI or capacitive discharge ignition, eliminating points and condensers. All of our Lifan engines are guaranteed to be free of manufacturer’s defects.
